Padma is settling in nicely, deciding that life off the street ain’t too shabby. Especially with south-facing windows.
I, on the other hand, bolted out of bed at 1:30AM because she was restless and making funny noises and I thought she was going into labor. Had the water half-boiled before I realized she’s just a nocturnal creature, up and about making funny noises. If this is a glimpse of what my approach to fatherhood might have been, perhaps we can all be grateful I chose a monastic vocation.

Oh, great, there you go, more cute pictures of even more cats. Provoking kitten lust, as we refer to it in this household.
Now I have to start checking everyday. When is the little one officially due?

I've got John Denver's "Sunshine on My Shoulders Makes Me Happy" running through my head right now. I wish we had a cat or two at our temple here near Seoul!
