Can anyone hazard a guess as to what olloo.com's translator meant here? "Totalitarian"? I once wrote them a letter begging them to hire a better English translator. Clearly it went right into the recycle bin. I would suggest at the very least that "cars" is not the most illuminating example one might select of a "totalitarian event." Though perhaps he or she was referring to the proliferation of Hummers here. And "children's day"? Well, maybe if they're mostly two-year olds...
Well, I suspect they're talking about the no-car, no-alcohol, and no-tobacco days, in addition to the Children's Day holiday... I think. It makes sense to shut down the latter if there really is a public-health crisis, but the first three are fantastic things that only help public health in UB. As for why the translator chose the word "totalitarian," I have no idea. Even the context is no help on that one.

I think Ariel's comment on the OOLOO webpage is probably accurate. Meanwhile, I have laughed out loud until I cried. Thank you, bro' Konchog
